Florida Football: 3 takeaways from dominant win over Arkansas

1. Florida should win out

Yes, this defense isn’t good. Florida’s defense can’t stop much of anything consistently and that will come back to haunt them in an SEC Championship matchup with the Crimson Tide, a team that has the offense to match them step for step.

However, this offense is prolific and as a result, I don’t see how any team remaining on this schedule could beat them.

They have Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Tennessee and LSU left on this schedule. None of those teams have anything on their defensive bench that can stop Kyle Trask and his offense. I’m not even sure that they have the offense to even begin to keep up either. All of these teams have struggled to put up anything consistent throughout the season and as a result, I don’t see anyone beating Florida.

Can they beat Alabama in the Championship game and find a way into the playoff? Probably not, but they will finish 9-2 and be looking at a big bowl game to end their season.
