Arkansas will present a tough test for Florida football on Saturday evening but here’s why the Gators will come out on top.

Dan Mullen knows he’s facing one of those sneaky-tough tasks on Saturday evening as Arkansas comes to town looking for a major upset.

Crazier things have happened this season, but it would take a herculean effort from the Razorbacks and former Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks for that to happen. Will the Gators be able to hold off this upset-hungry crew?

Arkansas is one of the most underrated teams in the country and Florida needs to make sure to take the Razorbacks seriously, but here’s why the Gators win and remain in the playoff hunt.

3. Familiarity with Feleipe Franks

On one hand, I could see this game being a chance for Feleipe Franks to prove himself and exact some friendly ‘revenge’ on the Gators and on the other, I could see Florida knowing so much about his tendencies that he’s not able to do much of anything.

I’m going to stick with the latter here.

Florida will be on top of things in preparation for this matchup and if they can keep Missouri and Georgia in check, what’s stopping them from suffocating Arkansas?

Knowing the quarterback like the back of your hand helps and this defense has seen everything Franks can do over the past few seasons so the game-planning for this one will be relatively seamless.
