2. Leddie Brown deserves more respect

How the heck is Leddie Brown not a household name yet? The junior running back has been putting up some serious numbers this season and he just added another 150-yard game to his resume on 24 carries. He finished with 156 yards, to be exact.

Now on the season, Brown has 897 yards and nine touchdowns with five 100-yard outings in nine games under his belt. He hasn’t reached the end zone as much as he would have liked, but he’s averaging 5.4 yards per attempt and looks like one of the best and most productive running backs in college football.

The Big 12 does have guys like Chuba Hubbard and Breece Hall so it’s understandable that Brown doesn’t get as much love as those guys, but he deserves more respect.

On a national level, almost no one knows who Brown is and that needs to change, especially since he’s been putting up 100 yards per week, on average. This kid is going to reach 1,000 yards in a shortened season and no one is talking about it.
