1. West Virginia is firing on all cylinders

On both sides of the ball right now, West Virginia is clicking. Neal Brown has this team playing really well right now and the Mountaineers dominated on both sides of the ball against TCU, holding the Horned Frogs to just 295 total yards and six points.

The tone was set early when it looked like TCU was going to just wear the West Virginia defense down with an 11-play drive, but it ended in a punt and West Virginia responded with a touchdown.

From that point on, it was all Mountaineers.

West Virginia’s offense is absolutely clicking right now with Jarret Doege looking like one of the better quarterbacks in the Big 12 and Leddie Brown adding another 100-yard game to his resume. The receiving corps is coming together nicely and it’s hard to say anything bad about the way this offense is developing this season.

On defense, there was just one sack by the Mountaineers, but they had five tackles for loss and held Max Duggan to just 161 yards and an interception on 16-of-29 completions.

West Virginia looks really, really good right now.
