3. Alabama will be No. 1 in the first playoff poll

I think this is pretty much set in stone in most college football fans minds. Alabama has faced every challenge this season as well as any team can. The Tide have beaten every team they faced by an average of almost three touchdowns.

Just think about that for a second.

In the vaunted SEC where each team would be better off if they moved to a different conference, Alabama has managed to roll each and every opponent they faced. The closest call of this year was against a potent Ole Miss offense in which Nick Saban implied that the Rebels may have been stealing signs.

Through the first seven games, Mac Jones has comparable numbers to that of the former Heisman winner Joe Burrow and 2020 favorite Kyle Trask.

The real test for Alabama will come in the SEC title game which will more than likely pit them up against Florida which has also been rolling all season with a few scares here and there.
