1. Feleipe Franks is so underrated

I’ve been saying this for weeks. Feleipe Franks is good. Like really good. So good that Arkansas went from being the laughingstock of the SEC to a pest.

Arkansas was a doormat in this conference for a few years and didn’t win a single game in SEC play under Chad Morris for two years. Before Sam Pittman got to Fayetteville, the Razorbacks hadn’t won a single SEC game since 2017. He has three conference wins.

A big reason for this sudden success has been the emergence of Franks, a grad transfer from Florida. He lost his starting job in Gainesville when he went down with an injury last season and was replaced by Kyle Trask who has since turned himself into a serious Heisman Trophy contender.

But Franks has had a rebirth. He looks like a different quarterback this season and even though he was unable to lead the Razorbacks to a win on Saturday, he played well yet again and put them in position to tie the game with just over a minute remaining. He was that calming force that kept Arkansas in the game when it was getting slaughtered in time of possession.

Franks finished the game with 339 yards and a touchdown on 17-of-26 passing. He rushed for another 43 yards and a score.

This kid is severely underrated and under-appreciated nationally.
