2. Malik Willis crumbled against a good defense

The expectation for the flashy dual-threat was high, especially after his notable performance in Blacksburg. Malik Willis passed for over 200 and rushed for over 100 more with the upset. Something Willis has prided himself on during the season is securing the football.

Willis had just one interception heading into this game. He would go on to throw three interceptions, including two that were very poor.

He did set them up in field goal position near the end of the game. However, he wishes he got some of those throws back as he finished 13-for-32 with 172 yards and two touchdowns, to go along with three interceptions.
