2. Dorian Thompson-Robinson out-duels Tyler Shough

Coming off the best game of his young career, Tyler Shough has to feel good about his future. He passed for 312 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Washington State and he completed 70 percent of his passes as well.

In two games, Shough has 539 yards and five touchdowns with two picks and a 92.5 QBR which would be good for fourth in the country with a big enough sample size.

On the other sideline, Dorian Thompson-Robinson has been highly criticized during his time in Los Angeles. He is, however, coming off a solid game in which he passed for 196 yards and three touchdowns on 14-of-26 passing. He also knows how to tuck and run with the ball as the Bruins’ offense has not been a problem this season.

Despite the usual criticisms regarding his accuracy and decision-making, DTR is a talented quarterback with an above average arm and athleticism.

Shough may be playing as well as any quarterback in the Pac-12 to start the year, but Thompson-Robinson is going to have the upper hand on Saturday.
