3. Kenan Christon needs more carries

Every team nowadays seems to want a guy who has break away speed, can catch the ball out of the backfield, and make multiple guys miss in space. USC has one of these in their backfield in Kenan Christon.

Christon had five carries for 55 yards Saturday night against Utah. USC has another good running back in Vavae Malepeai as well. He rushed for 62 yards on 20 carries, and added a rushing touchdown.

The real question was why did Christon get so few carries? Multiple teams have running back duos, with some even have trios in the backfield that rotate and share carries. USC needs to find a way to get the ball more in the hands of Christon moving forward.
