Week 12 of the college football season featured some of the most embarrassing losses among some of the Power Five conferences.

College football is having to adjust to the many challenges the pandemic brought upon the season. Week 12 brought many big games that had impacts on the College Football Playoff race and the New Year’s Six.

The week started with a blowout on Friday night as the Louisville Cardinals got their season back on track with a 30-0 shutout over Syracuse. This was a game in which the Orange found no consistency on the offensive side of the ball. They were also getting shredded on the defensive end by the dynamic run game of the Cardinals.

That loss was nothing compared to the serious beatings that some of the other teams in the Power Five suffered. The Florida State Seminoles (2-6, 1-6 ACC) may have avoided being one of those teams with ugly losses with their home game against No. 4 Clemson (7-1, 6-1 ACC) being postponed due to COVID-19.

There are three games specifically from this past weekend that raised the most eyebrows due to the ugly nature of the losses. One of these teams took a big hit in their pursuit of a conference championship game appearance and a New Year’s Six bowl.

Here are the worst three losses from this past weekend.
