1. This game has another whacky finish

Last year’s ending to the Egg Bowl was wild. Like really wild. Like Elijah Moore pretending to be a dog urinating on a fire hydrant after scoring what looked to be the the tying touchdown late. A 15-yard penalty because of the celebration would move the extra point back and it would end up being missed, giving Mississippi State the win.

It was a heartbreaking loss for Matt Luke and Co., but you can bet Moore and the rest of the Rebels haven’t forgotten the way things went down.

Revenge might be on the menu for Ole Miss in this one, but Mississippi State is going to match that intensity thanks to Mike Leach. This rivalry is just going to grow with Leach leading the Bulldogs and Lane Kiffin at the helm of Ole Miss.

Saturday’s Egg Bowl will be almost as crazy as last year’s.

The game will be tied in the final minutes and an Ole Miss touchdown with 1:30 left will give the Rebels a lead but Mississippi State will march back down the field and get to the red zone with a chance to tie it. A pick in the end zone by Will Rogers ends this one in thrilling fashion.
