Arkansas football has been a pleasant surprise this season and it’s facing its final month of action. What could take place for the Razorbacks?

We are in the final month of the regular season and Arkansas has just (potentially) two games left on its schedule. The Razorbacks will face Missouri with a chance to win their fourth game of the season which would shock just about everyone after going winless in SEC play in 2018 and 2019.

Sam Pittman has done an incredible job with a team that otherwise seemed destined for a 2-8 or 1-9 season and he deserves all the credit in the world.

Two games stands between Arkansas and the offseason and a potential 2021 resurgence.

How will the Razorbacks fare in December?

3. Arkansas beats Missouri by double-digits

Eli Drinkwitz has done a fantastic job with Missouri in his first year, going 4-3 and beating teams like LSU and Kentucky. The Tigers look like one of the up-and-coming teams in the SEC and they’ve taken care of each team they’ve been favored against. They’ll be favored once again versus Arkansas.

But Arkansas, too, has been a pleasant surprise and Sam Pittman has done arguably the best coaching job in the SEC this season.

That means this game will be intriguing and one of the most underrated of the week.

Each of Missouri’s three losses this season have been by double-digits and Arkansas will mark the fourth as the Razorbacks take it to the favored Tigers in Columbia. This will send Arkansas into 2021 with all the momentum in the world following a 4-6 finish with a double-digit win over Missouri and a hard-fought loss to Alabama (yes, that will inevitably happen).
