This Week 14 slate is loaded with upset potential. Which six teams will be on upset alert when college football returns this weekend?

Welcome to December college football.

One of the few (only?) benefits of a late start to the 2020 season is even more football in December. This is going beyond conference championship games, Army/Navy and the start of bowl season, which ironically enough, is now officially named Bowl Season.

We’re still loaded up with more football to come. Big top 25 showdowns, rivalries and upsets are waiting to happen.

Last week (huge thank you to Oliver Hodgkinson for stepping in — follow him on Twitter @ojhodgkinson, he has some great takes) teams on upset alert went 2-1. Notre Dame and Alabama both dominated, but Texas couldn’t survive a thriller against Iowa State.

On the season, teams on upset alert are now 27-15-2. They’ve come a long way since a pretty rough start.

Side note: while not “officially” on upset alert, Wisconsin should beware of Indiana. If Michael Penix was playing, Wisconsin would be in a lot more trouble.
