3. Missouri (vs. Arkansas)

We talk about Rutgers over-performing, but Arkansas is the definition of over-performing. A team picked to finish last in the entire overall conference, including popularly picked to go winless, has made 3-5 look better than it’s ever looked.

The Razorbacks have been competitive in every single game they’ve played this season, even games that got away from them in the end.

If there’s a major benefit to Missouri this week. It’ll be that Barry Odom, the Tigers’ former coach, is now the defensive coordinator at Arkansas. The Tigers offense will know exactly what to expect this weekend.

Arkansas will have nearly its full total roster this week, something they haven’t been able to say over the last few weeks. This team is motivated to get better and this week is their final opportunity to lay the groundwork for what they expect to be an even bigger jump in 2021.

Feleipe Franks will need a big game against a tough Tigers defense. He’s been one of the keys to the success of the Razorbacks and has been solid even against the toughest opponents.

This will likely be the last start of his college career. Expect Franks and the Hogs to go out with a bang.
