1. KJ Jefferson did a solid job in place of Feleipe Franks

You have to give massive props to KJ Jefferson for giving it his all and keeping Arkansas in the game at Missouri. The Tigers were favored and yet the Razorbacks were in a position to pull off an upset on the road thanks to Jefferson. He made a questionable throw on a 2-point conversion in the final minute but it ended up in the arms of his receiver to give Arkansas a 48-47 lead.

The Razorbacks found out on Saturday morning that Franks wasn’t going to be able to go and Jefferson stepped up and picked up the slack even when the defense struggled.

Arkansas was perfect in the red zone on Saturday afternoon and that 2-point conversion was huge as Jefferson showed confidence all game long and that’s impressive considering the Razorbacks haven’t called his number a ton this season.

Jefferson finished the game with 274 yards and three touchdowns on 18-of-33 passing and he also added a rushing score.

Not a bad game, even in a tough loss.
