Iowa State Football: 3 bold predictions vs West Virginia in Week 14
Lots of Michigan fans will be watching
Campbell and the Cyclones are obviously trying to reach the Big 12 title game and keep their hopes alive for the College Football Playoff, but wandering eyes from around the country are eyeing Campbell as their next head coach.
One program that still has a head coach, for now, is Michigan football with Jim Harbaugh. But there is already a huge chunk of that fanbase that has focused on Campbell as his replacement and with the Wolverines sidelined Saturday, there will surely be plenty of U-M fans watching.
What they will see is a program with an identity. The Cyclones are a run-based team with a solid quarterback in Brock Purdy and a defense that’s allowing just 348 yards per game, as well as just 23 points in the Big 12.
Opposing fans will also get a chance to watch Mike Rose, who is quietly one of the best linebackers in the country. He’s got 10 tackles for loss, 76 total stops and four interceptions this season and here’s betting he makes another impact play Saturday as fans all over ogle his coach.
