1. Kellen Mond and Jalen Wydermeyer impress.

Kellen Mond had a bad game against LSU last week, there is no question about that and there is no way to sugar coat it. However, he bounced back in a big way against Auburn and showed that he has the ability to win the games that the Aggies are expected to win.

Mond finished 18-for-23 for 196 yards and two touchdowns, both caught by the player we will talk about here in a minute- Jalen Wydermeyer. He also added 60 yards on the ground and another touchdown.

Now, let’s talk tight ends. Kyle Pitts may be the best tight end in America right now, but right on his tail is Jalen Wydermeyer of the Texas A&M Aggies. Wydermeyer finished with 89 yards and two touchdowns on eight catches.

He was Mond’s go-to guy and did extremely well as a blocker as well. As a sophomore, he has at least one more year in Aggieland and I can promise you he is making himself a lot of money as he continues to dominate week in and week out.
