5 Things we learned from Week 15 of College Football
It was another wild weekend of college football and here’s five things we learned about Ohio State, Alabama, Indiana, Iowa State and others in Week 15.
It’s hard to believe, but we are already through 15 weeks of the 2020 college football season. Essentially, we have one week to go before championship weekend and the postseason.
So over the next two weeks, the race for the College Football Playoff and the New Year’s Six bowl games will start to come into focus and much of its already has.
The next edition of the College Football Playoff rankings will be out Tuesday, but if you don’t want to wait, check out our projections here.
What you have is a pretty clear playoff picture: Alabama controls its own destiny, as does Clemson, Notre Dame, Florida and to a lesser extent Ohio State.
It’s not clear if Ohio State football will play in the Big Ten title game or not, but conference championship or not, is there any doubt that the Buckeyes are a top-four team?
If the chalk holds, meaning Bama beats Florida in the SEC title game and Clemson gets its revenge on Notre Dame with Trevor Lawrence, we should see Bama vs Notre Dame and Clemson against Ohio State in the playoff.
But Florida and Texas A&M are both in the mix as the top one-loss contenders and we can’t forget about undefeated Cincinnati, although an American title and a major bowl berth is probably the ceiling for the Bearcats.
So with all that in mind, let’s take a look around the country at what happened in Week 15.
