5 Things we learned from Week 15 of College Football
Pac-12 is a mess right now
The Pac-12 conference got a late start to the season and it’s been clear during the first few weeks that the conference won’t have anything to do with the College Football Playoff or even be in the conversation.
The one bit of good news for the league is that USC, one of its most well-known programs improved to 4-0 with a win over Washington State Sunday night. That sets up an undefeated showdown between 4-0 teams USC and Colorado next week in the Pac-12 South.
But the other top programs in the conference have been nothing but disappointing. After losing to Oregon State at home last week, Oregon lost again on the road to Cal. Then, to make things worse for the league, Washington, another unbeaten, lost at home to unranked Stanford.
The North is going to be interesting to watch down the stretch and it could be decided this Saturday when Washington heads to Oregon. The other division should be decided to, so there is that, but as far as playoff contenders — the Pac-12 has none.
