Before the season, most Week 14 games looked like exciting matchups of the 2020 College Football season. Instead, these matchups ended up being some of the most lopsided games of the season.

The third-ranked Clemson Tigers needed some big wins to gain some momentum for the ACC Championship. The Virginia Tech Hokies looked like they were going to be one of the biggest threats to the Tigers for the ACC title.

On Saturday, the Tigers took care of the Hokies at home with a 35-10 victory. This continues to be a disappointing season for the Hokies as they encountered their sixth loss of the season.

The Texas Longhorns have had an up-and-down season in 2020. This past Saturday, the Longhorns hosted the struggling Kansas State Wildcats in Manhattan, Kansas. The Longhorns crushed the Wildcats with a 69-31 score as Texas scored 35 points on the Wildcats in the third quarter. The Wildcats allowed two Longhorn running backs to rush for 311 yards and six touchdowns on 23 carries.

One of the most significant losses from a ranked team came from the No. 21 Marshall Thundering Herd. They were set to host the Rice Owls (1-2) as a 24-point favor in Huntington, West Virginia. The Herd were shut out at home by the Owls with a 20-0 score.

Despite these embarrassing losses from Virginia Tech, Kansas State, and Marshall, these were not the worst losses of week 14. Here are the top three worst losses of Week 14.
