It’s been a couple of weeks and things in the middle of the SEC are getting a little mixed up. Where does your team land in this week’s power rankings?

It has been a couple of weeks since we last talked about SEC Power Rankings. We’re now back with a few more weeks to go and things are getting messy in the middle. Let’s talk about what happened last week, just to make sure everyone is on the same page.

In the morning slate, the fifth-ranked Aggies took on Auburn on the road and pulled together a come from behind victory on the Plains, 31-20, to stay in the Playoff hunt. Next, Missouri and Arkansas put on a show, capped off by a Connor Bazelak drive after Arkansas scored late to take the lead that would be the talk of the town in Missouri for weeks to come. The Tigers won 50-48.

Florida took on Tennessee and despite yet another slow start by the Gators, they were able to win the game, 31-19. Will those slow starts get in the way of this team winning an SEC title? We will have to wait and see as the Gators did clinch the East this weekend.

South Carolina faced off with Kentucky and it didn’t go well for those rooting for the Gamecocks. The Wildcats finally figured out how to play offense, at least for this week, and put up 41 points in a 41-18 victory over the Gamecocks. South Carolina now has a new head coach in Shane Beamer, so hopefully, things will be looking up in Columbia soon.

Alabama got revenge for an LSU loss last season and even more with a 55-17 win over the Tigers in an SEC West clinching victory for the Tide. You could say Alabama is on a roll, to say the least. Now, let’s talk SEC Power Rankings, starting at the bottom.
