Arizona State football is facing a rivalry battle a little later in the year than usual. How will the Sun Devils fare against the Wildcats in Week 15?

It’s been an interesting season for Arizona State and the rest of the Pac-12. Everyone was expecting the season to be cancelled but the Pac-12 made a late decision to join the rest of the Power Five with a shortened season but theirs would only be six games, at most.

So far, Arizona State has played just two games after having battles with Cal and Colorado cancelled and there’s just one game officially left with rival Arizona.

The two will meet in a Friday night edition of #Pac12AfterDark and we could see some crazy play to kick off the weekend.

Will Arizona State avoid a winless 2020 season with a win at Arizona to end the year?

3. DeaMonte Trayanum rushes for 100 yards again

All aboard the DeaMonte Trayanum bandwagon. The freshman running back has been a huge bright spot for the Sun Devils in this otherwise stressful year on and off the field.

In fact, through two games, Trayanum has 192 yards and two touchdowns on 7.1 yards per carry. He’s been the perfect replacement for Eno Benjamin who had a terrific career in Tempe. If anything, this year can be used as just a warmup for Trayanum who will get three games of reps in while still being able to maintain a redshirt.

Trayanum rushed for 84 yards in the opener and then posted his first 100-yard performance against UCLA with 108 on 15 carries. He’ll one-up both of those performances with a 17-carry, 135-yard showing against Arizona.

Two 100-yard games to end the season with all the momentum in the world? Yes, please.
