Arizona State Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Arizona in Week 15
1. Arizona State finally gets in the win column
It wouldn’t matter if there were just two games or only one this year, I can’t see Arizona State leaving 2020 winless.
Herm Edwards is one of the best coaches in the country and he’s given life to this program when it looked dead in the water. Even when he was hired, there were people, including myself, who believed the move by Arizona State was a questionable one because he was an NFL coach with no head coaching experience at the collegiate level. How would he adjust?
It turns out he has very little trouble adjusting to life in college football and he’s been to consecutive bowl games. This season is a wash, so going 1-2 won’t be the end of the world.
Actually, this is a fairly average outcome considering this season is essentially a lost cause for the Pac-12 but he’ll use this final game to conjure some momentum heading into the offseason and the 2021 campaign.
Arizona is also winless, so this game is to avoid that dreaded 0-fer season. Arizona State is just too talented to finish the year 0-3. The Sun Devils win on the road to improve to 1-2.
