2. Feleipe Franks is a calming, consistent presence

What Feleipe Franks has brought to Fayetteville is something that’s been absent over the past few years and a big reason why the Razorbacks went winless in SEC play in 2018 and 2019. What he brings is a calming, consistent, veteran presence.

That’s been lacking for far too long at Arkansas and it’s clear what difference that’s made for the Razorbacks in just one season.

Franks has been consistent all season long and is in the midst of his best year as a collegiate starter. He has passed for 2,017 yards and 17 touchdowns with just four interceptions. He has kept Arkansas in every game this season and he’ll continue to do so on Saturday afternoon against the best team in the SEC.

The senior transfer from Florida has played well against just about everyone this year and was just a few plays away from pulling off wins over LSU and Auburn which would have made the Razorbacks 5-4 heading into this game. He’s going to make enough plays and he won’t get too high or too low, making sure the Razorbacks have a fighting chance.
