2. Nebraska (vs. Minnesota)

This is somewhat of a redemption game for both teams. Both Nebraska and Minnesota have been major disappointments in 2020 and this is an opportunity for each team to right those wrongs.

Still, a 10.5-point spread in Nebraska’s favor seems like a lot.

The Nebraska offense has only scored 24 points or more in just two of their six games this season. The Minnesota defense has been awful this season, so this might be the Huskers’ chance to finally show some of what they can do.

The key to this game is Minnesota’s rush attack, specifically Mohamed Ibrahim. Ibrahim has 817 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season and is going up against a defense prone to giving up big rush games.

Against Nebraska, Ohio State ran for 215, Penn State ran for 245, and even Illinois ran for 285 yards. The Husker run defense has been better as of late, including holding Purdue to negative two yards rushing last week.

But Ibrahim could be the best running back Nebraska will face all season. A 250-yard rushing day is not out of the realm of possibility. If that happens, it’ll be a long day for the Nebraska defense and an even longer day for the Husker fans.
