844. Final. 52. 829. 3

The Alabama football team rolled Arkansas on its way to the SEC championship. Here are three takeaways for the Crimson Tide.

Alabama football continued its winning ways Saturday on the road against Arkansas. The 52-3 win for Alabama was not competitive at all.

Heisman trophy finalist Mac Jones had a pedestrian game for the most part, passing for 208 yards and zero touchdowns. Jones put on his usual accurate performance completing 24 of his 29 passes.

Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 54 yards and three touchdowns leading the way for the Tide in the run game. Wide Receiver John Metchie III caught five passes for 72 yards leading the Tide in receiving for the day.

Christian Barmore and Will Anderson each had two sacks for the Crimson Tide defense.

Arkansas quarterbacks Felipe Franks and KJ Jefferson were under duress the entire game and could not move the football down the field successfully.

Jefferson left the game in the fourth quarter with an apparent leg injury. The lone bright spot for the Razorbacks on offense was the performance by running back Trelon Smith as led the game in rushing with 69 yards and also caught a 24 yard pass.

My biggest takeaway from this game was that Devonta Smith established himself as the best football player in America.
