Who wins?

The first year under Manny Diaz was definitely a work in progress for the Hurricanes but armed with a legit quarterback, the program has taken a big step forward this season.

Obviously, the Clemson game showed that this Miami football team isn’t quite ready for College Football Playoff contention yet, but getting back to a major bowl would be a step forward.

North Carolina is right there too in terms of building something.

Mack Brown has done an exceptional job with the Tar Heels. Last year, his team went 7-6 and just like Miami, North Carolina could very well earn an Orange Bowl berth with a win.

Unlike Miami though, Brown won’t be losing his quarterback next season and this will be a big step for Howell, who has put up video games numbers but needs to win games like this.

Howell did beat Miami football last season, but North Carolina has struggled on the road and while I think Howell will be great, King and the Hurricanes will be just a little better.

It’s going to be a shootout and it’s the only top-20 matchup of the day, so get your popcorn ready and settle in to watch two of the most exciting quarterbacks in College football duel.
