1. Another big game blowout for Miami

This was an absolutely disgraceful performance for the Miami football team who had so much on the line heading into this game.

A chance to get in the New Year’s Six is a huge opportunity for a program that is trying to build back into a championship contender, but when you get hit in the mouth like the Canes did, it is hard to buy into that notion that head coach Manny Diaz is building something special at Miami.

Like I said earlier, getting blown out by Clemson is one thing, but to lose this way to a North Carolina squad that is still in the early stages of program building themselves is hard to fathom. Aside from their run in 2017, Miami has been dominated in big games time after time.

After a performance like this, it is fair to wonder if there is anything positive to take away from the Hurricanes season and for the program that Diaz is trying to build in the years to come.
