2. The run defense was exposed yet again

Miami has been much weaker in their run defense this season compared to last year and it has shown in big ways at certain points this season, but none more than on Saturday against North Carolina.

The Tar Heels had their way up front and were running the same counter play over and over again because the Hurricanes could not stop it. Javonte Williams and Michael Carter both had over 200 yards and two touchdowns on the day and solidified their spot as the top running back duo in the country.

The linebackers from Miami were out of position all game long and the safeties could not contain on the outside, allowing Williams and Carter to gain big chunks virtually every time that they touched the ball.
