2. Dorian Thompson-Robinson out-duels Kedon Slovis

There’s a serious pro prospect at quarterback featured in this rivalry game Saturday night and his name is Kedon Slovis. He’s USC’s gunslinger and he’s one of the best young prospects in the nation, but people don’t realize just how good Dorian Thompson-Robinson can be.

Sure, he’s inconsistent, but DTR is one of the more intriguing prospects in the Pac-12. The 6-1, 200-pounder from Las Vegas was one of the best prospects in the nation as a recruit and he hasn’t quite lived up to expectations through three seasons, but he’s slowly coming into his own and he’s fresh off a strong performance against Arizona State.

Thompson-Robinson passed for 192 yards and a touchdown, completing 75 percent of his passes and not throwing a single interception against the Sun Devils. He also rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Slovis is also coming off one of the best games of his career, completing 25-of-32 passes for 287 yards and five touchdowns against Washington State.

Both quarterbacks have momentum, but the lesser of the two prospects is going to win this quarterback battle and shock the nation.
