As one of the elite programs in the entire country, Clemson Football brought in another recruiting class that will be the best in the ACC

College football seems to be a place of constant change, but some things stay the same and one of those things is that Clemson Football recruiting is going to put together one of the top classes in the country and the top class in the ACC.

Head coach Dabo Swinney is one of the best recruiters in the entire country and he is putting continued separation between himself and the rest of the ACC. With Notre Dame going back to being Independent next season, Clemson football will be head and shoulders above everyone else in the conference and will continue to be as long as they are reeling in classes like these.

If you want to see how good of a recruiting staff that Clemson is, look at where they are getting there recruits. Because the in-state talent in South Carolina is lesser than other states, especially in the south, Clemson has to into Georgia, Florida and other elite talent spots in the country to land top prospects and in this class, they did just that.

The Tigers went to North Carolina and got three of the top 15 prospects from that state, headlined by five star running back Will Shipley. This is significant because North Carolina is an ascending program in the ACC and the Tigers want to make sure that they are stealing talent away from the Tar Heels.

The Tigers made sure to go heavy at linebacker, getting two of the best in the country and getting some more help up front on the defensive line, which is always a priority with Clemson. What is notable is that this class is missing a highly ranked QB, which is due to getting DJ Uiagalelei last year and him having two more season of eligibility.
