This past weekend was the second to last of the regular college football season. It left us more questions than answers as there were some major losses.

One of the most significant losses of the week, and likely the season, was No. 6 Florida losing at home to a three-win LSU team. This was a Gators team that was supposed to be in serious contention for the 2020 College Football Playoff.

The Gators out-gained the Tigers by 191 total yards of offense, but it was their three turnovers with one coming from a pick-six on likely Heisman Trophy finalist Kyle Trask. This likely puts the Gators out of the mix for the 2020 College Football Playoff contention despite only falling one spot in the rankings.

The ranked matchup in the SEC between the No. 9 Georgia Bulldogs and No. 25 Missouri Tigers was not the most exciting matchup as anticipated. The Tigers got their first real taste of success this season by being ranked and they lost 49-14 to the Bulldogs. Missouri was only able to account for 200 yards and 11 first downs. Defensively, the Tigers gave up 615 total yards.

In the MAC, the Akron Zips had one of the worst losses in the nation as they were dominated on the road 56-7 by Buffalo. The Zips were out-gained 507-204 in total yards as they were down 35-0 by halftime.

Despite these losses, these are not the biggest and or significant of the week. Here are the three worst losses from Week 15.
