Championship Weekend is finally here that will determine the College Football Playoff. Here are five bold predictions for the weekend.

On top of the Conference Championship games, there several regular-season games left to make up in order for the season to be complete. One of the most significant non-title games will be Air Force (3-2) taking on Army (8-2) for the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy.

No. 5 Texas A&M (7-1) will have an important game this weekend against the Tennessee Volunteers (3-6). The Aggies are playing for one more chance to impress the College Football Playoff committee as they are not playing for a conference title. They must be able to win decisively as well as need some help from other teams to dethrone No. 4 Ohio State (5-0) or the No. 3 Clemson Tigers (9-1).

Other than No. 1 Alabama (10-0), no team is safe no eliminated from the final decision by the committee after this weekend.

The Buckeyes will face No. 14 Northwestern (6-1) in the 2020 Big Ten title game. Ohio State has been solid in championship games but they are cautious this year as they have not gotten many chances to play because of other teams having to cancel their matchups due to COVID-19.

Clemson will face No. 2 Notre Dame (10-0) for the ACC title game. The Tigers are looking for revenge after a 47-40 loss in double overtime in South Bend. Clemson was without quarterback Trevor Lawrence and several defensive starters against Notre Dame. This time, the Tigers come into the game as 10.5-point favorites.

There are several huge storylines to follow through this weekend in the final week before bowl season. Here are five bold predictions for Championship Weekend.
