The offense will hit 30

It’s been a tough go for the offense this season as Nebraska football has only scored 30 points in a game twice, which happened to come in both wins for the Huskers.

The offense has been much more consistent moving the football the past few weeks with Adrian Martinez getting more reps at quarterback, although his performance throwing the ball last week was disappointing, but that should continue against Rutgers.

The Scarlet Knights allow 4.4 yards per attempt on the ground and are also allowing teams to throw for 244 yards and 2.5 touchdowns per game. Cade McNamara, the Michigan redshirt freshman, threw three touchdowns in basically one half.

Rutgers has allowed at least 23 points in each home game this season and even though the Scarlet Knights have the better record and are at home, they are 5.5-point underdogs, which tells you something.

Wan’Dale Robinson should have a field day and I also expect more good things from Zavier Betts, who continues to establish himself on the outside.
