Notre Dame football is looking to take down Clemson for a second time this season and it won’t be easy but there’s a playoff berth on the line.

In their first year as members of the ACC, Notre Dame football will play for a conference title. The Irish have rolled through the league with an unbeaten record and they earned a rematch with powerhouse Clemson in the title game.

In this weird COVID-19-dominated year, two Notre Dame wins over Clemson doesn’t seem that whacky. It actually almost seems like par for the course.

But will it happen at Bank of America Stadium this Saturday afternoon? It’s going to take another herculean effort from Ian Book and Co. but the Irish gave what it takes to down the Tigers for the second time in just a couple of months.

What craziness could take place in the ACC tile game on Saturday?

3. Both Kyren Williams, Travis Etienne break 150 yards

Kyren Williams is one of the best running backs in college football and he doesn’t get the praise he deserves. If you were to ask a casual college football fan who the more productive running back was un this matchup, an overwhelming percentage would say Travis Etienne, but that hasn’t been the case this year.

In fact, Williams has rushed for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns on 180 carries this season while Etienne has had a bit of a down year with 758 yards and 12 scores on 148 touches.

In this one, however, we are going to see one heck of a running back matchup between Etienne and Williams as both rush for over 150 yards. Etienne hasn’t broken 100 yards since Oct. 10 against Miami while Williams reaches that mark nearly weekly now. They’ll both have huge games with the ACC title on the line.
