He’s won at every stop

Napier was a guy that got a lot of traction because he had ties to both Clemson and Alabama, so naturally, it would make sense that Auburn football fans would want him.

However, he didn’t want to coach at Auburn and neither did Sarkisian and that’s just the way it was. But in terms of head coaching records, Harsin’s record is just as good if not better just with his experience as a head coach.

He also is going to be more familiar with the South than one would think as a head coach from Boise State because he coached in the Sun Belt Conference and with Texas, which is going to help.

Boise State isn’t a power-5 program but it’s the next closest thing so Harsin isn’t going to be intimidated going into the SEC and his teams have also shown the ability to play the kind of tough, physical football you need to win.
