1. BYU wins a shootout as both teams combine for 100-plus

Defense has been a strength for BYU all season and it has aided this 10-1 regular season record. The Cougars give up just about 14 points per game and 309 total yards which is impressive, but they have yet to see an offense like UCF’s.

The Knights average just 15 yards shy of 600 per game while scoring 44.3 points per contest behind the electric arm of Dillon Gabriel. Well, he’s going to have himself yet another strong showing through the air as BYU is going to struggle to slow him down all evening long. He’ll surpass the 400-yard mark through the air with his run game struggling behind him and Gabriel will throw somewhere in the ballpark of 5-6 touchdowns.

On the other side of the field, BYU should have zero problems scoring the football as well. Zach Wilson is one of the nation’s best passers and he’s facing one of the worst defenses he’s seen all year. The Knights allow 283 yards per game through the air and just shy of 500 total.

With both quarterbacks having field days and Tyler Allgeier also adding to the offense and surpassing 1,000 yards for the season, BYU and UCF will find themselves in an old-fashioned shootout.

Both teams will combine for over 100 points and BYU will get the win.

If you’re into betting, smash that over.
