The 2020 Cheez-It Bowl will feature a vast amount of NFL caliber talent between Miami and Oklahoma State. Which players should we be watching?

The last time the Hurricanes and the Cowboys met was in 1991 when Miami dominated the Cowboys 40-3. The Hurricanes were named national champions by the Associated Press.

This season, both the Hurricanes and the Cowboys were well into the season competing for a conference championship and a College Football Playoff appearance. It wasn’t until deep into the season where they were not able to get past their conference rivals in the Clemson Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners, respectively.

There will be plenty of star players for this bowl game from both teams despite some significant players skipping the game. Hurricane defensive ends Jaelan Phillips and Quincy Roche have declared early for the 2021 NFL Draft as they will skip out on the Cheez-It Bowl. Freshman defensive ends Jahfari Harvey and Cameron Williams will be starting.

On the other side, Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard opted out of the final few weeks of the 2020 season. Their presence in the locker room and on the field would have been highly significant for their teams.

The Cowboys are going into this game as the three-point favorites over the Hurricanes.

Here are the three players to watch in the 2020 Cheez-It Bowl.
