Texas A&M football has had a strong season in 2020. Now, they face off against UNC in the Orange Bowl. Who should you be watching for the Aggies?

Outside of a loss to No. 1 Alabama, Texas A&M football had a strong and convincing 2020 season. There were quite a few players that really made the Aggies the team they were and they are for sure guys to watch during this matchup. Narrowing it down was hard, but here are my top three players to watch for Texas A&M football in this matchup against UNC.

3. The Maroon Goons

In what will likely be the final game that this unit will play together as four out of the five of them are seniors, but the Aggie offensive line- lovingly dubbed the Maroon Goons, are for sure a unit to watch in this game.

Carson Green, Kenyon Green, Ryan McCollum, Dan Moore Jr, and Jared Hocker are a group that has been fantastic this season. They head the SEC with 5.4 yards per carry when it comes to rushing. They have allowed four sacks this season through 276 pass attempts, averaging 0.44 sacks per game, the best that the SEC has seen in 13 years. They are number one in the SEC in tackles for loss allowed, allowing only 34 in 617 plays.

After all that, they are a Joe Moore Award finalist and should, I repeat, should win it. Keep an eye on this unit to manhandle the UNC defensive line and do exactly what is necessary to allow the running game that we will discuss here in a minute to get what they need to be strong.
