2. Jalen Wydermyer, Isaiah Spiller, and Ainias Smith

Yes, this is three players. I am aware of that, but I just couldn’t leave any of them out. I am also aware that none of them are named Kellen Mond- a guy you should also keep an eye on. Let’s get underway with talking about them- starting with John Mackey Award Finalist Jalen Wydermyer.

Wydermyer is easily one of the top tight ends in the SEC and is only a sophomore. Look for him to really take over that top spot in terms of tight ends in the conference starting with the bowl game and moving through the 2021 season. Wydermyer leads the Aggies with 502 yards on 45 receptions and six touchdowns.

Isaiah Spiller and Ainias Smith are, in my opinion, one of the better running back duos in the conference and maybe even the nation. The sophomores are strong and have very different skill sets that make them each important for the team as a whole. Spiller has 986 yards so far on the season to go along with seven touchdowns. Smith, the more receiving back, has 293 rushing yards and four touchdowns to go along with 439 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

These three players really make the Aggie offense hum. Chase Lane should also be watched at receiver, so don’t leave him out, but these three are game-changers for the Aggies.
