1. Buddy Johnson, Jayden Peevy, and Bobby Brown

If I get three offensive players, I get three defensive players and these are three you won’t regret watching. We start with senior linebacker Buddy Johnson, Dave Campbell’s Texas College Defensive Player of the Year. He finished with 76 total tackles, 6 for loss, and three sacks throughout the season. He also had one pick-six on the season.

The next two guys are on the defensive line for Texas A&M football and have been impressive throughout the season.

For Jayden Peevy, it’ll be his final game in Maroon and White and it has been a wild ride for him and the other seniors- including the aforementioned Buddy Johnson, to say the least. Peevy has 28 total tackles on the year including five for loss, a sack, and a fumble recovery. Look for him to team up with Bobby Brown- who we will discuss next- and the rest of the defense for a successful game against a UNC offense who has been depleted a bit with opt outs.

For Bobby Brown, he is just a junior, so he has one more season in Maroon and White, but it has been a historic season for him.

He has gotten to the quarterback in each of the last six games and I wouldn’t be surprised if that streak continues against UNC. He has 20 total tackles, 7.5 for loss, and 5.5 sacks.
