2. Brennan Presley looks like the next star wide out

With Tylan Wallace opting to sit the second half after six receptions for 45 yards through the first two quarters, that gave former three-star athlete Brennan Presley the opportunity to break out.

And break out he did.

Presley had himself quite the game, catching six passes for a game-high 118 yards and three touchdowns. He looked like that next star receiver for the Cowboys and was Spencer Sanders’ favorite target with Wallace not in the game.

Without Presley’s breakout performance, there’s a good chance Oklahoma State doesn’t win this game. Chuba Hubbard was out after declaring for the NFL draft a month earlier and with no threat of Wallace.

Coming into Tuesday’s game, Presley was a non-factor and probably wasn’t even on the scouting report for Miami, but he just set himself up to be the go-to target in 2021 with Wallace gone.
