Who wins?

Depending on what happens with Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh, Matt Campbell could be coaching his last game with the Cyclones. NFL teams could come calling too, but it still seems more likely Campbell will return to Ames next season.

And you can bet he would love to do so with the program’s first major bowl win in his back pocket. Winning the Fiesta Bowl may not mean a ton to every program, especially ones normally in the playoff, but for Iowa State, it’s a big deal.

Oregon isn’t the kind of team that will scoff at playing in this game and the Ducks are going to give the Cyclones some issues with their high-powered offense. Yet, Iowa State plays in the Big 12, so it’s not going to be shocked and Oklahoma has every bit the speed Oregon does.

If the Cyclones hadn’t turned it over and shot themselves in the foot, there’s a good chance they could have won the Big 12 and take away those mistakes and add in a stellar effort from Breece Hall and it will be just enough to win the game and wrap up a top-10 finish. The Ducks cover though.
