The future is incredibly bright

Texas fired its head coach but already filled the vacancy and it looks like Jim Harbaugh is staying at Michigan, so the Iowa State shouldn’t have to worry about Campbell going anywhere, at least not after this season, although the NFL could come calling.

If Campbell stays in Ames though, the Cyclones could have a have to be really, really good again in 2021.

Hall, the star running back who went over 100 yards against Oregon and had a monster season, will be back, as will Purdy, the three-year starter at quarterback.

Purdy has been an incredible find and even if he isn’t Justin Fields or Spencer Rattler, with a good defense and a solid running game, he can win a lot of ball games as he did this past season.

Rose is also back on defense after totaling around 100 tackles and five interceptions for Iowa State this past season. Texas will have a new head coach and Oklahoma is going to be as talented as ever, but don’t count out the Cyclones in the 2021 Big 12 title race — not for one second.
