We all know football players are tough, but an Ole Miss football defender exemplified that, puking right before the snap and staying on the field.

Even though everyone is staying home this year, there were probably still New Year’s Eve celebrations considering it came on a weekend this year.

And that doesn’t exclude college football players.

One Ole Miss player looked like he was experiencing the side effects of a hangover (we know this wasn’t why he got sick), puking right before a play in the second half and barely even flinching.

I have a tough time trying to make out the number of this player since I didn’t see the puke happen live, but it looks to be a linebacker and, well, he deserves the tough guy award for the day.

Never mind the fact that Ole Miss blew a two-touchdown lead to Indiana in the second half when it looked like the Rebels were going to run away with an Outback Bowl win, this was the highlight of the defensive effort for Lane Kiffin’s team. The defense did not play well late in the game but you can’t hate on this type of effort from a defender who throws up, doesn’t even flinch and stays on the field for a crucial play.

We hear all the time how hockey players are so tough but this proves football players are, too. Normal people are debilitated when they have to throw up, but apparently football players at Ole Miss are just built different, I guess.
