2. Matt Campbell

Campbell has had quite the journey as a head coach and his reputation for program building and evaluating talent might soon land him a job at the highest level.

Campbell has been rumored to be a target of NFL teams the past couple of seasons and after guiding Iowa State to an appearance in the Big 12 championship game and a Fiesta Bowl win over

Oregon, Campbell’s stock could not be any higher right now. One way to predict if a college coach could be successful at the next level is looking at the amount of talent he is winning with at the program he is at.

There is not a significant talent gap in the NFL like there is between the top of college football and the rest of the country and if you can show you can win without the five star talent, the league will notice. Watch for Campbell’s name to show up in nearly every NFL coaching cycle this time around.
