After a 2020 College Football season full of doubt with injuries and distractions, the Alabama Crimson Tide have finished the season as the reigning National Champions. The Tide had a high amount of talent that contributed to the team’s perfect 13-0 record.

Alabama football goes into the 2021 offseason with many questions at each position. The Crimson Tide will return some key players that contributed to their 18th National Title as well as several players that will be asked to step up as potential starters next season.

Alabama football will lose Heisman Trophy-winning wide receiver DeVonta Smith, Doak Walker Award-winning running back Najee Harris, Outland Award-winning tackle Alex Leatherwood, and the Rimington Award-winning center Landon Dickerson as they were seniors.

The Tide will likely also Davey O’Brien Award-winning quarterback Mac Jones, 2020 SEC Defensive Player of the Year cornerback Patrick Surtain II, and slot receiver Jaylen Waddle early to the 2021 NFL Draft.

This offseason, the Crimson Tide will be under tremendous pressure coming off a dominant 52-24 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes in the 2021 CFB Playoff National Championship game. There will be highly recruited players for Alabama that will be expected to replicate the same amount of impact as the starters this 2020 season.

There will be a bigger benefit this offseason as there are expected to have workouts, camps, and Spring Training that was canceled due to the effect of COVID-19. Here are three Alabama players with the most to prove this 2021 offseason.
