2021 NFL Mock Draft: First-round projections after national championship
Some experts have rated Alijah Vera-Tucker the No. 3 or 4 offensive lineman in this draft class, but I’m not quite as sold on him right now. That could change throughout the draft process with a solid combine showing, but he’s still a first-rounder, in my opinion. I just don’t think he’s a top-15 or top-20 pick.
But at No. 30 overall, the Bills would get great value out of the offensive tackle from USC. While he’s played most of his ball at left tackle for the Trojans, he projects as an interior offensive lineman at the next level. And that’s what the Bills need.
The Bills could use an offensive tackle as well, but an interior offensive lineman is also a need. Why not get a guy who could potentially play any position along the line?
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman is athletic for his size and you can bet Josh Allen would love to have Vera-Tucker protecting him.
Many believe the Bills should address the defense, but Vera-Tucker may be the safe bet here.
