Running Back

Starter: Zamir White
Backups: James Cook OR Kenny McIntosh OR Kendall Milton

Georgia may have the best running back room in the country heading into the 2021 season.

Zamir White and James Cook were both expected to leave for the NFL, but opted to return to Athens for another season to chase a championship. White brings the power element that wears defenses down and Cook has game changing speed and receiving skill that compliment White perfectly.

Kenny McIntosh was set to become the lead back, but he will still have an important role as the change of pace back with Cook. McIntosh is also a very good returner on special teams and he should assume his starting spot there.

Kendall Milton was a five-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class and he showed flashes last season of his talent. It will be tough to crack the rotation in 2021, but expect Milton to earn some carries in relieve of the other backs. This is a loaded group.
