Quarterback

Starter: JT Daniels
Backup: Stetson Bennett IV

The starter under center for Georgia will be undisputed heading into 2021.

JT Daniels was tremendous over the last part of the season. The way he opened up the vertical passing game on offense was something that Georgia fans have been wanting to see since Kirby Smart became the head coach in Athens.

Daniels did not appear to be hampered at all by the knee injury that he was recovering from and with a full spring and summer to get better with his teammates, expect Daniels to be a popular pick to win the Heisman Trophy next season.

The backup spot will be a good competition, but due to experience, I am going to give it to last seasons part time starter Stetson Bennett IV. Bennett will have to beat out Carson Beck and incoming freshman Brock Vandagriff, but I will give him the edge for the time being. This could shift if either Beck or Vandagriff has a strong spring.
